Timbers

Appearance Timbers, displaying four sided rustic charm are popular throughout North America. They are in homes, restaurants, golf course club houses and hotel lobbies. Clears

Fine Grain Clear fiber is found in our large coastal logs. These logs yield the most sought after of all softwoods – dense, vertical grain clear Western Red Cedar. Our Clears become the Sidings on the finest Cape Cod Heritage Homes, slicings on Sacred Japanese Temples and weather resistant window sash, shutters and blinds throughout Europe and Australia.

Tight Knot Products

Tight Knot finished products finished at our Salmon Arm planer mill are made from small gang logs. These products include "Architectural and Contractor Knotty" decking, bevel and channel sidings, panel, and fascia. Each product is available unseasoned or Kiln Dried.

Industrials

Teal Cedar is a strong supporter and supplier of products to the Cedar Remanufacturing industry. Our Full Sawn sizes offer an additional amount of fiber to planers and resawers of our fine grained and stable harvest. Shops, Flitch and Clears go toward North American Finish Grade and Cut Stock to both Europe and Asia. Coastal old growth has proven to have superior drying properties over any other cedar.

Yardscape

More and more homeowners are accentuating their yard space to become lifestyle enhancing. The first choice for these enhancements is often Western Red Cedar. Cedar is very easy to build with and is extremely weather resistant. It accepts stains as well or better than other softwoods.
