The Teal-Jones Group (Teal) has initiated a public advisory group for Forest License A19201 and Timber License T0822 located within the Fraser Timber Supply Area as part of their certification initiatives. For the sake of certification, these licenses are referred to as the Defined Forest Area (DFA).

The DFA is within the scope of other broader public participation processes such as the Timber Supply Review process whereby the Annual Allowable Cut is determined by the provincial Chief Forester applicable to larger geographical areas. Teal plans to build on the results of these broader plans, and emphasize local values on a smaller, more specific scale.
