Introduction

The Teal-Jones Group (Teal) has initiated two public advisory groups: Southwest Island Public Advisory Group for the Honeymoon Bay portion of the Defined Forest Area (DFA) (Tree Farm Licence (TFL ) 46) Fraser Public Advisory Group for the Fraser portion of the DFA (Forest License A19201 and Timber License T0822 located within the Fraser Timber Supply Area)

Introduction Goals Membership Proceedings Adjusting Terms Of Reference

The DFA is within the scope of other broader public participation processes (e.g., Vancouver Island Land Use Plan, Timber Supply Review process, etc.) applicable to larger geographical areas. The Public Advisory Groups build on the results of these broader plans, and emphasize local values on a smaller, more specific scale.

These Terms of Reference are designed to define and guide the process of public participation in the development and maintenance of Teal's Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) Plan.

These Terms of Reference must be agreed upon by members of the Public Advisory Groups.
